This place was supposed to re-deliver my package, even sent me a confirmation email saying it would be delivered Monday but instead...they didn't deliver it and now it's at some other location way far away from me. Ugh. I hate USPS.
Nick Savage
Thanks for sending my package to wrong USPS facility, paid extra to have my package in time, but this useless location decided to send to other state. Idiots
Marleen Sandoval
Was expected to get my package July 1st, it is now July 11th… this place has been the absolute worst!!! 3rd time this has happened to me !!!

Absolute garbage. Enough said

Do you have to get a new picture for passport renewal?
Many workers are working remotely and the customer service line has to go to a voicemail in order for all the customer service reps to have equal ability to answer calls. Leave your name, number (speak clearly/repeat) and relevant details like TRACKING NUMBER, passport details like applicant age and if they've had a passport before, and someone will call you back.
If it's a normal letter. It's $.50 plus $3.45 for certified
My Gf said that one or the one in west valley (She works for them)
If it has tracking number double check it. Whenever you have a tracking number screen shot it so you can keep up with it.
Up to midnight on 4/15/2019 may need to put in extension so you won't be charged for late fees
Yes
I think its open 24hrs its a huge facility but id call to clarify my boyfriend has a p.o. Box there and sometimes we would check his mail late like 11pm late
Try going to or calling the main post office on 2100 S and Redwood. They might be able to help you.
It will also have a USPS tracking number. The shipper should have supplied you with the number.
UPS will pick up items from USPS. Which day this occurs I'm afraid I don't know. keep in mind that while all mailers do some scanning of cartons/containers rather than individual items, other shippers tend to do this practice more than USPS, so a package (particularly one that didn't follow regular acceptance protocols) may not have a scan until it is close to the destination.
84199 is the zip code of the post office that delivers the mail for PO Boxes with the zip code 84130, and they deliver virtually all of the mail coming into that box section with the default zip code for the post office, as the scanners are set that way. However, the mail is delivered to the correct PO Box/zip code.
No. Your mail would come from the West Valley Post Office, as your zip would be 84119. Actually this post office does not handle any street delivery, only has an extensive PO Box section and handles the collection carriers for the blue boxes for a lot of the valley. The folks who live very close to this Post Office (with zip code 84104) are actually assigned to the Airport Post Office, which is what it sounds like...a post office right near the airport terminals. It's not great for the customers, but it is what it is.
You should go to the post office or whatever you deliver it from
You can open a PO Box online
Yes. Just look at the last pickup time on the drop box.
Go to Travel.state.gov for instructions.
You will have to take it in to get weighed.
That depends on what type of letter and where it is being sent. First class mail recieved after 4:00 pm today will be delivered locally (Northern Utah) on Monday.
Yes. There's a # you call to schedule
I would recommend talking to the postmaster
You can find form to apply for a Passport online by using search engine. Complete form, and either obtain a photo through authorized agent, or simply make an appt at PO Passport office where they will take photo, collect fees and review and submit form and photos. Have id, SS cd and expired Passport if applicable. You can also call PO for more info.
