Pets should be well behaved. On a leash six feet or less. They also have a few dog waste stations. Please pick up after your pooch! Certain areas and activities are limited I believe. No dog park but plenty of walking or hiking. Go have fun!

Its $6 per car with 2 or more people in the car, $4 if it's only 1 person in the car and $2 if your walking or riding your bike in.

Yes, but best with a kayak or boat. Difficult to fish from shore and catch much. There's a boat ramp for trailered boats. Kayaks can be launched from multiple locations. Mostly brackish water. Target snook, jacks, mangrove snappers, and even small tarpon.

Child friendly lots to do and a play ground area but nothing to climb. Lighthouse in jupiter is great though.

There is a swimming area that is close to the snack shop and kayak rentals..They have several rental air-conditioned cabins which my family members rented one while attending a wedding...they are nice , enjoy ! They have swimming area that has border area's..this is used mostly in the summer time.

You can definitely rent canoes and kayaks. I am not sure on the price, but I suggest doing the shuttle drop off. They will drop you off at Riverbend Park and you paddle downstream all the way back to the park. Trapper Nelson's is an interesting historical site along the way but is only open certain days of the week. Call the park and they will help you with everything.

Nelson had money hidden in his fireplace that was accidentally found. That is all I'm aware of.

No, hunting is not allowed in state parks, only fishing. You can hunt in some state and national forests, national preserves, and wildlife management areas during the designated hunting seasons, as long as you have a license. Check the State of Florida FWC website for more details.

Yes, both but reservations are booked months in advance and are hard to impossible to get for Jan, Feb and March. There are two campground so make sure to look at what is appropriate for your needs.

We saw deer and rabbits. And some tortoises.

I have been going to Jonathan Dickinson for over 20 years and have never seen one. Call and ask a ranger.

No pool in campground but kayaking, canoeing, john boat rental on river. Also a boat dock for fishing and boat ramp.

The entrance to the park is off US Hwy 1

14 days and they have 2 campgrounds. One is an open setup while the river campsites have trees and is 4 miles back. The only dump station is at the front campsite which also has septic hook up on some.

I'm pretty sure that primitive camping is free with the cost of admission to the park.

It is permitted out by the canoe area. Very murky water. I'd swim elsewhere to be honest with you.

I was looking for a future campsite, for the park was full at the time I was there.

When I was there I did not hear any noises it was peaceful. I enjoyed myself, i went mountain biking it was great.

There is a little outdoor mobile food place. Sells hot dogs, burgers,pulled pork sandwiches, some other selections if they have that day. Also soda and beer. There is also a shop which sells ice cream, granola bars, candy ,gifts etc.

There isn't a limit but all must be on a 6 foot leash at all times and cannot be left alone over 3 hours and must be reasonably quiet. We volunteer in Florida state parks.
