There is a swimming area that is close to the snack shop and kayak rentals..They have several rental air-conditioned cabins which my family members rented one while attending a wedding...they are nice , enjoy ! They have swimming area that has border area's..this is used mostly in the summer time.
I would recommend to swim in the Atlantic Ocean which is across from the park and yes they have cabins.
Their is a swim area in the river but I wouldn't. Their are several cabins. Quaint 1 bedroom and come with everything.
Yes there is a place to swim but there are a lot of signs saying be careful and beware of alligators. As for cabins yes they do have them they look like they're brand new they're putting roofs on them right now. Make sure you take bicycles for plenty of bicycle paths it's really beautiful.
Towards the evening I was catching some very aggressive sharks. I would not recommend swimming there. I was fishing on the walkway where the boats give river tours.
There is available swimming, but you'll have to bring outside sleeping gear.
