It is permitted out by the canoe area. Very murky water. I'd swim elsewhere to be honest with you.
They said we could go in there but the water isn't clear much to murky. If you ask the park rangers they have us a few spot very close to swim.

There is a lake area but I don't think there are any pools even in the camp area .
There is yet when we went to the "Swimming Hole", it was low tide and looked like something out of a horror movie. We passed on that.
