We had a terrible experience here. I took in my son’s chromebook to fix the broken touch screen. When calling ahead and dropping it off I reminded them it was touch screen. They had it for two weeks and it was not repaired so I called to follow up. Magically the part arrived while I was on hold. When I picked it up later that night, it looked fine and we went home. Got home and realized that not only does it not work (the touch portion) but it also makes a clicking noise when you open it. We went back to the store in the morning because they were now closed. The company stated that they warned us when we dropped it off that touch might not work (this did not happen or we wouldn’t have used this repair company). They also stated that the noise is a common issue and there’s nothing they can do about it. We asked to talk with a manager and there was none on duty. We called later to provide our information for a manager to follow up. We didn’t receive any contact. We got a refund and went across town to another business to have them repair it properly. They fixed it faster (UBIF took 2 weeks, they took 3 days), correctly (no clicking and touch works)and for the same price. Will never use UBIF again and will no longer recommend this store. We gave the company a chance to fix it, or explain the errors, and they didn’t take us up on it, so I’m finally writing a review. If they’re not willing to listen or make changes then I feel I need to write a review warning others to stay away if you want a quality repair.

I brought in my iPhone XR to fix the charging port and my phone was perfectly fine besides that issue. I got it back and I have a random dead spot on my screen that was not there before and my microphone and speaker are basically broken. I brought it back the next day and told them the issues and all they said was that they didn’t do anything to the screen and to “update my software” to fix the speaker and microphone problem. I brought my phone to the apple store and they said I would need a whole new phone. I paid $115 for them to basically break my phone and do absolutely nothing to fix it. Horrible service.
