Zero stars is the appropriate rating. We took our daughter to see him for ADHD testing / evaluation and to see if she could possibly be on the autism spectrum. What a complete waste of time. It took months to get it. We completed a ton of paperwork. We had her teachers fill out questionnaires they had given us. Even my daughter filled one out. Our appointment with him lasted a total of 9 minutes. During which all of our concerns fell on deaf ears. He said very few words and ultimately provided a completely bogus and lazy "diagnosis". Do NOT waste your time with this doctor or anything psychology related at Vanderbilt. Absolute trash. He should've been put out to pasture years ago. He's a dinosaur that simply won't retire from his cushy high paying job.

The doctors and staff are great but I’ll tell you one thing that is not great… this is a mental health facility and the last thing you should have to worry about at a place like this is being bullied. Yet while my child was here she experienced bullying. She made friends with a few of the kids but there were some kids that were very mean to her and made her feel upset and embarrassed as if she wasn’t already having a hard enough time. This really upsets me and I wish staff would better monitor the children and what they are saying to one another.

Poorly run clinic. We scheduled testing for our 13 year old son. Unfortunately, the person that scheduled the appointment entered our phone number incorrectly. Their "automated system" apparently called this incorrect number to confirm the appointment. When it didn't reach us, they just cancelled the appointment without us ever knowing. They could have sent us an email, or even a letter. Instead, we wasted an hour driving there in traffic just to find out we couldn't be seen, then another hour returning home. I would be less furious, except when we showed up at the clinic, they told us this happens quite often. It's really a shame there is no consequence for this level of incompetence.

My daughter is 32 with learning challenges and they gave her a test for 18 year olds. If they knew this going in, why did they even schedule this appointment? Why didn't they recommend another office?

Is anyone familiar with the partial program? If so please shed some light - I have an amazing gifted son who is really acting out - we may be entering that program

The partial program is great. The program is 8-2. Parents can have the doctor and therapist call for updates. During the program, family meetings are set and goals are shared.

Parents can stay during visiting hours and when meeting the care team. It all depends on the child's needs, but usually parents don't stay.
