Dr. Megan Flemmons WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND!!!! I understand that some appointments run over and I have to wait a few to be seen but me and my child came to his appointment on time and we proceeded to the waiting room then to the back. 30 minutes pass by then 1 hour pass and so on beyond ridiculous and inconsiderate. When she finally comes to the back she did not apologized or nothing just walked in as if everything was fine! Also she was not formative at all. I will not be bringing my child back to DR. FLEMMONS! Not one care in the world DO NOT RECOMMEND WHAT SO WHATEVER! So unprofessional and not worth a penny! If I could give a Negative Star I would! Horrible first time experience be ware of Doctors like her! Does not care about her patients what so ever! JUST HORRIBLE!

Do not go here! I scheduled my yearly exam and follow up care for an eye condition. My original appointment was switched from my local office to the Nashville location because they said that was the only doctor that could do my exam. The office was running more than an hour late. The doctor was very nice but when I got home I realized I didn't get a copy of my prescription. When I reached out I was told that the doctor I saw doesn't provided prescriptions even though she performed an eye exam and confirmed my prescription. I was then billed almost $1000 dollars for one single visit. I have been dealing with my eye condition for years and have never experienced anything like this. At this point it feels like fraud. To make everything more annoying, because of their bills I am unable to have a second exam to get a prescription covered by my insurance. Similar to other reviews, I was forced to go upstairs to check in and then sent back downstairs because I was 15 minutes early. Then I had to go back upstairs to check back in to wait another 15 minutes for my actual appointment time. It would be nice to specify that the time provide is an arrival time when scheduling. I routinely run 15 minutes early to my doctors as a courtesy in case their staff needs forms or documents filled out. Unlike other reviewers, the gentleman at the front desk was very courteous.

I did give a 5 star but after experiencing the gentleman at the check in when you first enter, there is no reason why he has to have an attitude with cancer patients! We came in 7/12 at 830am and we did not catch his name but his attitude and the sarcastic tone is not needed for your cancer patients! Get better staff!

Good day I am writing on behalf of a friend of mine who is a glaucoma sufferer. We live in Cape Town South Africa. He has tried various eye drops for glaucoma available on the market here however he has been allergic to many of them.

Your friend would need to come for an appointment. This sounds very serious and shouldn't be diagnosed or treated online.

Is Vanderbilt eye institute non profit

It's my opinion that no non-profit in Tennessee is actually non-profit. We are too concerned with money, and the non-profits control too much market share. If you want a true non-profit, go with Interfaith Health Clinic or the free medical center of Oak Ridge. There was also one on Chapman Hwy for a while I believe. Not sure if it's still there.
