Classic 100 year old oyster dive. Ambiance is white and green 1 inch tyle like a pool house from 1890 seating maybe 40. Raw oysters dozen was ample sized, no tiny ones. Better not have anything less than mouthful chews for $22 a dozen. My brother was in his depressed and can't eat more, SO GOOD FOR ME, he gave me his last big 4. Filling, sweet. Questionable was the horseradish, a tiny silver spoon stuck into a community serving bowl with a silver lid as the only protection from all customers that came before you. Skip the oyster or shrimp loaf sandwiches, weak presentation of sliced white bread, leaf lettuce. I guess pride of tradition keeps it on menu. Broiled oysters, one kind, Butter, Parm, Garlic. Camt go wrong. I live here, so try it once to say you did. Closed in the summer May 28th for 100 days.
