Hey folks! Have not been to your parish, or Idaho for that matter, but, I do want to thank you for claiming and restoring the crucifix behind your altar. Please treasure it, as it came from my high school, Southside Catholic, St. Michael school in Pittsburgh PA. Saw the salvage dawg episode and saw you folks claimed this piece, so our parish will live on. My deepest thanks. We weren't a financially blessed place, a large parish nor a place of glamor. We were though a community that hung in against many odds. Though we didn't survive the changes, I am thrilled a piece of us lives on. Thank you! PS, St Mike's was home to America's longest running passion play, Veronica Veil.
