They have really treated me well, the staff is very courteous and friendly and to be a public service that many people go to, they work on your case quickly and are very effective

Because the whole office is horribly unprofessional! For a government office, you would THINK they'd act and treat their clients with a whole lot more respect and courtesy!!!
In Lehigh county there are A LOT PLACES THAT HELP CASA GUADALUPE start there and they will refer you and so on catholic charities is another try all local churches in your area and you'd be surprised how much help they can be blessings and good luck you can't be evicted due to the pendemic but you MUST KEEP TRYING TO GET AHEAD
Go online and apply at compass.state.pa.us
Is voluntary you dont need food stamp to work here
Yes you can fax it. Just google the fax number.
No can't go in person had to drop off some papers the other day and had to put them in a drop box outside the building and doors were locked
Call the office they should mail you what you need
You can call the number on the back of the card and ask for a replacement. I don't know if there is a charge but if there -IS-, it's something nominal like five dollars. Literally the cost of reprinting and cutting a piece of plastic and throwing a stamp on it.
Use Mycompass PA. The application is free and is available in Spanish. The office is closed on Monday.
You can call the nation wide number 18773958830. Or u can go on the web site was.compass.stats.pa.us good luck. You can also just go into the office but u where Probally be there forever.
Visit the office and talk to someone. That's your best bet. If u don't have time, google the office number and speak with someone

https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/pabureau There are 300+ jobs working for the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Depending on your education & experience you could land a life changing job. When you are hired as a full time permanent employee, your health benefits start immediately. Now...you probably won't start as a FT perm employee, the best way is to take a temporary position and make a GREAT impression. I am in the process of doing that myself.
You can apply...but I doubt you'll get it. Get all you can...then go get a job Unemployment is at a record low...there are tons of jobs out there...give one a try. If you have something wrong with you, Google OVR or Occupational Vocational Rehabilitation in your area. They will bend over backwards to find a job for you.
They give you a list of items to return to them, such as identification, income, etc. Turn them in via mail, fax, in person, or thru the app (MyPACompass). Follow up multiple times, as things seem to fall thru the cracks here, more often than not.
5, but depending on what you need to do, you may want to go an hour or two earlier
Not sure if this is correct, sounds like your changing from one office to another. It should work if you contact the present office to inform them first of your change. They should assist you in what to do with the new office when you move. Then contact the new office. Good luck.
If it's food stamps you never transfer those cases. They call it transfer, but reality is they have you call and close your case with them. I would call your reading office and close your case when your ready to move. You then fill out a new case in N.Y whether it's online or paper form application. if it's SSI, these cases are handled differently. You call your social security administration office to notify them of an address change. Reason is ssi Is Social security benefits and those are rarely taken away. Where as food stamps thats just if you qualify per your residing state. Hope those helps you.
Any of the 3 numbers work i just try it
No its open
No. SSDI is a racket. We paid into the system, but they automatically deny everyone their first time. Unless you hire a lawyer, you're probably never going to get SSDI. You can hire local ones to help you, they get paid when they win your case. DON'T hire any of those lawyers you see on TV. They are rip-off artists.
