My experience with the Village was absolutely horrible. My therapists talked badly about me to my face and made my self esteem crumble. They are highly unprofessional and disorganized. Almost all of our appointments were canceled by the therapists and changed to a time that we clearly stated did not work for us. This was the most miserable therapy experience I have ever went through. If you don’t want your son/daughter’s mental health to crumble, please don’t pay this organization. They only care about money.

Ditto! Totally agree with everything above. Yes, the people working here are extremely rude, disrespectful, and just totally detached from their mission of ensuring that "real change happens." Nothing could be further from the truth! Trust me, I used to work for this toxic swamp several years ago. And let me just tell you that the administration here, particularly top "leadership" has absolutely no clue what they're doing. They are never accessible to employees, don't even know their names, and offer zero assistance or support in terms of helping their workforce maximize and realize their potential. To make matters worse, HR here is stuck in the Stone Age with antiquated notions about what effective, ethical "human" resources should represent. This is truly a nightmarish, toxic swamp which I wouldn't even recommend to my worst mortal enemy!!

What would an adoptee need to do to found out if one of his biological parents contacted the Village with information? My adopted son would like to know. He is presently out of the country but can email. Thank you, Sue Warner-Prouty

A highly abusive company. Horrible treatment of the patients! Our grandson use to attend. We pulled him out after just a couple weeks. He kept getting unexplained bruises everywhere. Then we found out what was really going on. He was getting slammed into the ground during restraints. Company denied everything. Claimed he got the bruises from falling on playground. Total rubbish! Blatantly untrue. We have witness statements and cellphone video as proof of what really happened. Company still trying to deny everything. Doesn’t want to face the liability. But they know down deep what really happened. Avoid this place altogether! It’s highly abusive and very un-therapeutic. And equally as corrupt. Enough said.
