I hesitated to do this , perhaps they are stunted by resources but my dad was diagnosed with liver lung and bone cancer all at once . Initial conversation with the oncologist had us hopeful but in quick time he was completely debilitated and In excruciating pain until he was put under we had hoped for some more quality time and maybe one more fishing trip , however he left the hospital to the Brian center for rehab and while 2 days befoe i watched as he lay flat and brought his knees to his chest It blew my mind to being told he refused to do rehab there due to pain . I realized this wasn’t the “ long term care ward” and I gotta say $12k a month for giving him pills for every so many hours ? That’s ballsy and the pics on the website depict and clean yet comfortable and stylish up to date facility. Once u get to the back we’re the patients we’re it’s just so idk blah, like death warmed over @if u will!

I was very impressed with the changes The concern of the staff about the well being of the resident Your Dr really impressed me , he helped my friend who Is a resident there get an consultation with a surgeon to do a hip surgery. It was so good to see him calm her and help her and her son to know what needed to be done. Her son went straight to the Dr office and got her an appointment I was praising God the whole time for using the Dr ,nurses, to make her feel like she mattered and there was something that could be done.

How are general pharmaceutical needs addressed? Is there an in-house pharmacy or access to a pharmacist?

There is access to a supply of medication for first dosing at the center that is available while new medication orders are communicated with the off-site pharmacy. Recurring prescriptions are filled by the off-site pharmacy for residents. Consultant pharmacists review each resident's medication list on admission and monthly thereafter to monitor each resident’s individual medication regimen and make recommendations to the physician.
