Do not send your child here. My daughter was admitted a few months ago. I brought her existing bottles of medication with us and the person who admitted her wrote down the doses incorrectly. We were told, on admission, that we would be able to contact her whenever we wanted to, but staff routinely changed the rules, wouldn't relay messages to her, and refused to talk to her primary therapist or pediatrician to provide updates. Months later, her primary therapist and pediatrician still don't have case notes from her stay. Staff also tried to drive a wedge that wasn't previously there between us and our daughter, between our daughter and her regular therapist, and our daughter and her pastor. They refused to provide us with a diagnosis or let us talk to the psychiatrist who diagnosed her. They also wanted to raise her medication doses frequently and to an inappropriate level (verified by her therapist, psychiatrist and pediatrician) and wouldn't provide an explanation as to why they wanted to raise the medication to this level. The worst was when we asked to speak to the doctor so we could understand her diagnosis, the PA on staff told our daughter that not only would he not allow us to talk to the doctor because it wasn't necessary, but that if we didn't come and pick her up immediately, he would call CPS and have her picked up from Cross Creek as an abandoned child. They further had our insurance information, but refused to bill our insurance company and only mailed us a bill months after her release - a bill that was not itemized. My daughter was so upset, we had to provide extra care and therapy from her normal providers to decompress her after the experience.

Stayed in June, we’ve been requesting a UB-04 form be sent to my insurance for weeks now with no response or action on behalf of the hospitals billing department. Claim can’t get approved without it.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST PLACE FOR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH!!! I was admitted after a suicide attempt as a adolescent and stayed for 4 days until I finally had enough of their neglect. When I first arrived into an admissions waiting room there were crumbs all over the seats. When I said goodbye to my mother the nurses rushed them out of the room and out of our goodbyes. The complete ignorance to my needs when I would constantly say they were not being met shows the incompetence this place has. The second day I was there, a tech assaulted a child, leaving a large bruise on the child’s upper arm. Luckily, they moved him to a new unit; but he should’ve lost his job. On top of that, the nurses completely mocked the children who were in episodes. Everyday I was there I told staff they needed to assist to our needs and mental issues; I was completely ignored. Also, they would never isolate or restrain children who threatened other patients; but would bribe them instead. Ms. Cara was the only nurse who tried to listen to the children. I went in expecting treatment but only got traumatized. I was the oldest in my unit and taught the children more coping and techniques than the therapists did. Everytime I brought up the fact I was in violation of my rights, I was told it was because the unit was not fully functioning yet and they were understaffed. They used excuses to combat their complete violation of our rights. The doctor even tried to prescribe the medication I used to attempt. There was only 1 group a day and the rest of the day consisted of drawing, coloring, and watching movies. They would lock the doors to rooms where the only bathrooms were. I was the only person able to calm the patients down because I was the only one who showed them kindness. If you expect to be cared for or even listened to; DONT GO TO CROSS CREEK.

They have no visiting hours whatsoever, only phone calls. Can't have contact with the outside world aside from newspapers two days late and the news on a TV in the break room. (You'll be lucky if they let you outside on days that their supervisors aren't watching, let alone be contacted by your loved ones.)
