My husband was at Texas Neuro Rehab for about a month and during his stay there, he was well taken care of. All of Eli’s therapists were warm, kind and attentive. Our case manager Stephanie was Amazing! She paid attention to every detail. When all Eli wanted was a good cup of coffee every morning, Stephanie made extra effort to provide him with it Every Morning. When we received word of Eli’s plan to be released back home, she made sure all our needs and necessities were addressed and taken care of. Unfortunately, Eli never made it home, but Stephanie kept in contact with us to ensure that all our bills and belongings were taken care of. Her dedication, warmth and care for her patients was very obvious, most especially with Eli. I don’t have enough words to express our gratitude and appreciation for Stephanie. The staff at Texas Neuro Rehab we’re all caring and compassionate and we are so glad to have worked with them during this transition.

These people helped my brother recover from a coma and helped me recover from head injuries. Everyone was always patient and happy and went above and beyond. Truly life changers.

I cannot find my review. Idk. But I went here 11 months ago. It was the worst experience I ever had. The care wasn't to great and the dr wasn't any better. They wanted to keep me against my will but the therapist(which are great btw) helped me to get the paper sign to leave. Because of the care I wanted to leave. I was happy once I left. From the reviews ppl say it's a great place but maybe because of my condition it was different for me.

My experience with the Bluebonnet Outpatient Clinic of Texas NeuroRehab Center has been excellent. Christina Portell, SLP, who performed my swallow study & now my swallow therapy is a very kind, caring & compassionate Speech Language Pathologist. She provides excellent, expert medical care. She takes time to answer questions & explain things thoroughly. She truly cares about the patient, and it shows in her care and interactions. I highly recommend Christina Portell, SLP, and the Bluebonnet Outpatient Clinic at Texas NeuroRehab Center.

Get her out as soon as you can. I've contacted Advocacy, Inc. regarding my case.

Would like to know when saying they were mentally abusive can you be a little more exclusive? I'm from Houston and was recommended to this rehab mainly because they except medicare. But i know it's not a vacation but I'll be dammed if i go there

Mentally abusive? When I was there I didn't observe any behaviour that can be construed as mental abuse.

Have ever been held there against your will without doctors orders? I was on voluntary placement and they wouldn't let me leave.

No not at all. Actually, I was able to spend the day with my sister at her house. My doctor did have to approve it for safety reasons and my sister went through a quick training to make sure she could handle things if I became overly tired or worse fell. My experience at TX NeuroRehab was wonderful.
