As inpatient, the doctors were impatient. They did not actually talk to you or listen. When given a diagnosis, I asked why they thought that and they responded "we don't have time to explain". Because of this, not only did it prolong my healing, but it also fostered a deep distrust of them and mental hospitals. (This was Dr. Wagner and a resident) For outpatient, I think it was a high price for something that was a group setting with probably not even 15 minutes of personal check in.

When I Google dr. Gregory Scott Brown or Center for Green psychiatry this is the only address I got and Austin is this place. I’ve literally wasted two hours of my day trying to reach these people. Biggest nightmare on earth. Do not waste your time with any of this weather it’s certain or center for green psychiatry who in the world even knows, at this point. Horrifying experience.

I had a physical illness called mold toxicity and mast cell activation ( which was diagnosed much later) which a team of Seton doctors were unable to diagnose and wouldn’t listen to me or believe me so they told me I was delusional and sent me to Shoal Creek where Drs. Kimberly Kjome and Tara Wagner demonstrated unprofessional conduct and substandard care. This is a horrible place with horrible doctors.

Let me tell you something this place doesn't deserve any stars! One of these days and I have told this to people I'm going to win the lottery I'm going to buy this place and then I'm going to get a crane and bulldoze it. I'm going to invite the whole city to watch.

We are following local and state government and health department guidelines for COVID-19 vaccine distribution. For the first doses of vaccine available, front-line healthcare workers have been prioritized. As vaccine appointments are made available in your community, additional information will be shared. If you end up hospitalized at Shoal Creek and you are not from Austin (which is not uncommon), your social worker will decide with you the best way to get you back home. I have seen people taken to the Greyhound bus station after discharge, it just depends on each person's circumstances. The staff does not want you stranded, and no one wants you in crisis without help. Enjoy your trip in Austin!
I would think you could check yourself in if you are harmful to others or yourself
How can I reach someone by phone that I can ask about my account?
The only thing they're strict about is what the patient is allowed to bring. There is no structure, my child as well as others just ran wild, same clothes for days. Highly do not recommend!! If you need one, I highly recommend Austin Oaks!!
They do but I would highly not recommend Shoal Creek,I speak from experience. I would try Austin Oaks, they are amazing all around!!
