We reserved and paid in full for the group tent site a month ahead of time. I received a call today from Homeplace that we shouldn’t have been allowed to book the group site because we only have 15 people with 4 or 5 tents. We’ve already made arrangements with family for this camping trip and they wanted to move us to individual sites. I asked if another party wanted the group site and told no. I don’t understand what the issue would be if we used it, but they did not seem very accommodating so I asked for a refund which was $10 short. Called KOA in Fancy Gap and found much better accommodations.

It is a very quite and beautiful place. The only thing I didn't like about it was if you are camping there you still haft to pay to swim Dearing the day they do give you a free pass to swim but it is from 6.30 to 8.30 at night and it start to cool off at that time and it is to cool to swim.so my kids didn't get to swim much bc it's 8.75 to swim and they do give you a coupon to pay 5.50 each to swim at the other time but I thought it was free for people who pay to camp. They only give you thr offer to pay 5.50 one time other then that you haft to pay full price 8.75 each. The only things we could do was fish or walk around . The mini golf was $2 a person witch was not bad but it was from like 6 to 10 and that was the only times you could play. The people are very nice and welcoming but there was not alot to do unless you want to pay on a daily. If you left from the pool even to go to your camp site you had to pay to get back in. We stayed for 4 days and didn't do alot. Beautiful place but probably won't go again. Will try to fine a new place with more thing added in to the price of camping.

After reading some of the reviews we were hesitant on going to the point we called and questioned what was going on up there. We got the answers we wanted. We arrived and was greeted like old friends. We couldn't ask for a better weekend. The pool was awesome! Our grandson had the best time. The food at the snack bar was very reasonable priced and tasty. Our campsite was clean and level. The whole campground was very well kept and in order. I very much enjoyed my stay and planning to go back soon.

This is the best pool to go to. It's super big, water slide, rope swing, 2 diving boards, and splash bucket that empties every few min in the beach like entry. The pool has a shaded grassy hill where you can put your things, no pool furniture tho. And there is a grill on site where you can get a cold drink or full lunch like burger and fries!!! This is a great Family Environment for all ages.

Absolutely, the coolers may be checked for alcohol, but other than that, it is no problem.
For ages 5 and up, it is $8.00, and $3.50 ages 4 and under. After 4:00 P.M., the price is $4.00, and $2.00. Hope that helps Donna!
I'm an employee there, they are open 7 days a week, 10 - 5:45.
Tammy, the pool opens at 10:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. daily.
Yes
You can leave a detailed message on the office phone and they will call you back to schedule your shelter reservation. Office hours may be limited this time of year but they are happy to help and you should have plenty of shelter choices to suit your needs for the upcoming season
Open at 10am closes at 6pm yes open for swimming
I don't know if they have campers for rent. They have spaces for rent to park RVs in.
Yes, a washer and dryer in most of the bath houses!
Camping for tents and rvs but no cabins. Pool is not open to public at this time. You would have to call for prices.
the pool is not open at this time. The said 2 weeks ago that it would not be open this season but Camping is available
Per the yearly lease agreement renting out your site with or without the camper in it is not allowed
No pets inside fenced area around the pool I do not think...
They have three shelters ready and available to rent. Yes, you may grill out.

They only accept credit for entry to the park...the grill is cash only.
Pretty cheap. Most items like candy or ice cream are $1 or $2. Cash only. Most expensive item is a burger I believe. Maybe $3.50?
You can also go into town and walk the main Street, see all the neat stores, a four story museum (free).
