Also known as Station 18 1/2, Sullivan's Island Lighthouse is a wonderful, quiet beach. Parking is subject to fines if you park over the concrete so just be careful. Dogs are allowed off leash at specific times depending on the season, and require an Orange collar that can be obtained at the city office for a fee. We've seen bonfires occasionally. On the far end by Station 28 we've seen kite surfers. Lots of pelicans dot the skies and dolphins can often be seen from shore.

Beautiful beach area to soak in the magnificence of creation, letting nature nourish the soul.

I would be careful around the lighthouse its self the people maintaining it may not be cool with it.
Don't know. Didn't try. The beach was too much of a magnet for us.
No fee but parking is limited! Be sure tires completely off the pavement, or else park on the main street and walk through the neighborhood to the beach
A couple hundred yards or so
