Apparently the old church is beautiful. There is an overflow building that isn't that pretty, that's what we saw. So the 5* are for the historic church.

Isle of Palms is a wonderful and intimate area of Stella Maris Catholic Church is the same. The pastor is a fantastic homilist. The organ music is great and the service is fulfilling. I don't know about the other masses in the area, but Stella Maris is not a place to miss for your mass commitment.

No they are not. The priest is just a really good and holy man who celebrates the Latin Mass for the faithful on Sunday evenings.
