Nice hotel and even better costumer service. Chris at the front desk was amazing, very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We travel a lot and this is by far one of the best hotels experiences we've had in a while. The breakfast was also very good. My husband and I are watching what we eat and it was easy to find foods to accommodate our diet. Also Galena is probably one of our favorite places and we usually come around 5 times a year. We've probably stayed in most of the hotels in town and I have to say we would definitely stay here again.

Very nice clean hotel. My kids loved the pool area and quickly found new friends to play games with in the pool. The rooms themselves are very nice and updated but in typical of all Country Inn and Suites they have the absolute worst pillows of any hotel chain.

Amazing! Kids had a great time in pool with slide. Also a smaller slide available. Water in main pool goes to 4 ft. Perfect for kids. Hot tub was so nice. All very clean and staff cleaning constantly. Pool temp was very warm and comfortable. Staff monitored pool area nicely. Always piles of clean towels. Staff was amazing and abundant. Our room was really neat. Our bedroom had a ceiling fan and a door that we could close between the Living room and bedroom. There was a small fridge, microwave and a desk, bench,couch,lot as of lamps,chairs etc. Very homey. Bathroom was small but had great sink and the water pressure on the shower was the greatest I've ever seen. I can't say enough about the staff from the lady with the accent who did everything and was always there to the older man at the front desk making us feel so welcome ,the housekeeper who cleaned up after us and the pool attendants...oh and the breakfast ladies...they made multiple kinds of waffles and there was all kinds of cereal muffins eggs sausage milks juices...best coffee ever. There was an arcade and lots of vending machines. We played air hockey. There is an elevator to this 4 floor hotel...it is small but handy. Lots of luggage carts available. Culver's restaurant across parking lot. Beds comfortable and perfect. Pillows fabulous. Shampoos and soaps lovely. Will be returning to this cool place. We stayed 3 nights.

Chris checked us in and was very kind and patient with us as we were curious if we could upgrade rooms. We were excited to have a nice two night stay and have our daughter enjoy time at the pool. Due to unfortunate events, we had to leave suddenly to take our daughter to the ER. We called Chris to see if there was anyway we could get a refund for our rooms since we had to leave so suddenly. He immediately expressed his concern for our daughter and was once again super accommodating and kind to us. He was able to get us a full refund for our room. We will definitely be back another time!
