They can only appraise pieces that were purchased from them
For an updated appraisal- you need to come into the store and let them take a look at your jewelry so they can verify it with your purchase history/account, & drop the jewelry off for a cleaning so they can inspect everything. It varies store to store, but typically I know the appraisal will be mailed to you in 2-3 weeks. You pick the jewelry up same day. No appt, no cost.

They only take into consideration purchasing the center stone (diamonds only). No used metal or smaller accent stones.
Yes, I purchased a ring there some years ago and sold it back to them about 2 yrs ago. Did not have to purchase another ring.
