I have lived at the Grande at Granite Falls for over two years and while I enjoy living here, I have had a continuous problem with roaches in my unit and there are other units with this situation also. This is an unacceptable situation and although concern is always expressed by management, little is done to dissipate the problem 😞

I am tired our maintenance man lying saying he is so busy everything is falling apart. He told he got called every other day to fix a toilet that would not flush until he finally did it. When he says he will come by to fix it. He comes by alright riding by in his truck. He said he could not reach my shade he had to get a 6 ft guy to fix it. I know his legs have arthritis because they are bowed out. I feel bad for him in that way. But I do not appreciate being lied to. So if you are trying to get fired go somewhere else and let somebody else do the job. Even just retire since you are old enough but don't use the resident seniors here like this. We pay our rent legally you are to make repairs. Oh by the way, still waiting on the back door to be repainted. Niw waiting 3 years. The sun gets so hot on it peeled my paint and other neighbors also. Things have gone down since GEM Management took over. Sorry but just tired of the lies and the lack of concern. NEW UPDATE We got a new lady last month. She is there most of the time when you need her in the front office unless called to a different apartment complex. She is friendly, is starting to get things to be repaired by maitenance. She is a hard worker and cares about us seniors. Thank you Jesus for it. Thanks Mrs. ANN

It would be hard but I never said you couldn't!! It has to be a lawyer from out of town that's the way explained to me.. Go to gems management and the make complaints to HuD fair housing program..Good luck
I was going through something similar complaints fall on deaf door!! You have to go above Gem management it's called HUD and it will walk you through the steps!! The apts I am talking about is in Damadcus Va...Unsafe for all

It would depend if the communities have the same program or the same owners, GEM is the 3rd party management.
It woudld depend on what the convictions would be; Please reach out to an individual Property if you want to apply
These apts usual don't stay empty too long... You get on a wait-list here... At the most,3 months an apt may be empty

Well, they own apartments in upstate SC. Let's just say as long as the money is coming in, they're not concerned. Complaints don't matter much. Hope this helps.
