I moved into a FirstKey home two weeks ago and it has been a disaster ever since. Our maintenance requests have gone ignored and we are being ignored by our local office.

Customer service reps are very courteous and nice. However, each department has no idea what the other is doing. I got transferred all over the place for a simple maintenance request. I don't have a stove. The maintenance person didn't even show up today, or call to let me know that they weren't coming. Every department I called I had to repeat the same information over and over again. Ridiculous! If you're going to outsource your customer service department, at least give them the ability to talk to one another. I love my home. And I adore my community. The maintenance and customer service needs to do better.

This property management company is fair, they know the laws, they don't pester you with multiple inspections. You know what you're going to get with a home you rent from them: a nice home in a nice neighborhood that is well taken care of. We put our application in on a home sight unseen because we know the quality of home they have. We love our home. They also make it super easy to pay your rent with a bunch of options including an app (literally the easiest place I've ever paid rent to) and they help set up utilities. They've got a reward system where you can earn points by paying your rent on time that you can redeem for gift cards. They also partner with rental insurance companies that do legitimately cost less than what you can find elsewhere. They also partner with a company that only reports your positive rent payments to credit agencies to help you build your credit. 10/10 would recommend.
