How is the fishing. Is it catch and release or can you keep what you catch. I have a license so good to go. Also planning on taking the family, son and wife.

True all depends on weather there sometimes you can get into the fish. I have caught catfish and sunfish/brim and also bass there. Good luck and state regs apply when keeping fish that's all.

The boat landing in Mt Holly off of 27 is private property but the owners are cool. $2 per person and there is no time frames. That's for fishing from the shore or launching a boat. They only charge $2 because they increased their property taxes to $ 5000 a year now. It used to be free.
