Welcome center Nancy and Lynn are outstanding. Short staffed but these 2 doing work of 4 creating smiles no matter circumstances. Assistant Manager should stay away from guests very moody. I like it here for the most part NEW REVIEW Had the opportunity to meet new manager in newly redone office spaces. Been at least an 2 years since I'd seen space that was musty and unwelcoming. Clean well lit,new paint it's now an office to welcome guests not storage with desks! Gwen seems like a pleasant positive person wanting the best for guests .Minden is on the way up! Updated review Great improvements happening here Member after hours number up and working well. Updated handout detailing all need to know information! Easy to read print clear and concise! Many more facility updates in progress We'll deserved thanks and credit to Thousand trails Less than 2 maintenance guys left that includes honey wagon rounds They need to improve staffing so members can smile more

Friendly staff. This campground is more for the older crowd. Rentals No longer have any boats (paddle) etc. No activites, except mini golf. Playground has 3 swings. The other one is rusty. I wish i could have given a better review, but it is what it is.

The "lake" is green and nobody was in the water, only ducks. We came ready to swim and kayak, but it was not appealing. The hookup section is VERY compacted with little to no privacy. It seems like many people live here or stay for long periods of time. Nobody is out of their RVs, it's dead. There is nothing to do around here. There are ALOT of bugs, and bug spray doesn't seem to bother them. We considered leaving early, but we had already wasted gas pulling our trailer all the way over here plus food and supplies. We ended up spending more having to make it a casino weekend at the Sac Hard Rock. Safe to say, we will NOT be coming back.

It is open for swimming/day use as of last week!
The water has been tested and it's fine for swimming. The merky cloudy is because of a clay bottom. My grandkids have swam in it quite often with no health problems. There are cat fish in the Lake and people are not allowed to fish near swimming areas. But we have our kids wear swim shoes in case of things that you can't see.
Parking is free with fishing pass
Ya they do but it's a miracle that they do they were so busy right now they're basically hogtied what things to get ready for 3rd of July and regular customers
Not sure if you would want to... it's just a putting lake and is shallow. Good luck
Well ?how is it memberships sell like hotcakes all across the USA BUT NO NEW PARKS ACQUIRED IN OVER 6 YEARS??? THATS WHERE THE PROPRIETARY THING COMES IN? RIGHT.???? THEY KICK YOU OUT BAN YOU NATIONWIDE FOR WELL, ANYTHING THAT SOUNDS GOOD AND BS BELIEVABLE MAKING ROOM FOR THE NEW BUYERS. CHARACTER ASSASSINATION RAMPANT . OH LETS NOT FORGET SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT TOO UH HUH zz. I dont subscribe to politically correct I SUBSCRIBE TO THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT !!!! Then the employee who calls everyone BABE slams your name furthering attempt at character ASSASSINATION !!! Truth!
No pool. I wish they did. That would be a huge bonus! However, you can wade in the lake (pond), paddleboat, canoe, or float on floats, but no pool. It's more of a campground than a resort.
I don't know. Ask again in 24 hours and i can give you the current number.
It's on the map of Uber Sacramento area which is huge - all the way north to the Oregon border, to the coast near Shasta, and to the Nevada border almost down to Fresno, but the bay area is not covered by Sacramento Uber. Going to be pricey, though.
They do. They regularly host boating events on the lake. There are always lots of rigs and lots of tents. There are shelters and restrooms. Best to contact them to make sure your event can have them.
No idea. Call office 530.656.2700. I'm just a camper.
Yes. However, there is a long waitlist!
I would have to gep's the actual distance but it's less than 3miles I would say. & yes they have sewr! If ur not a member already & frequently camp , thousand trails camping pass is a great way to save $
Yes
No there's no boat rentals at all not the paddle boat or the aluminum boat but you can bring your own kayak for boats to put on the water but they're not rinsing any of those because of covid
No day use
Not to my knowledge
Yes it is safe to eat the fish. My husband and i been fishing there for the past 4 yrs. We catch alot and eat alot of the fish from there. We are still healthy as ever.
Beaches were not open the first week of June. But could swim from the boat ramp
Not positive, but around 40 to 50.
Call the ranger at the park Or go to the website
At first I would say you know probably should call. But knowing them . They can be strict. especially if you have hey Thousand Trails membership. Have a great have a good time up there a lot of fun. Wait until you see the sunsets. There's gas'sin the air and the sunset are beautiful. if you liked the answer please give a thumbs up.
I believe that each resort has different fees and some don't offer storage. Fyi the water taste nasty hear.
Yea they accept the cards. But unsure if they offer day passes. You might have to belong to the thousand trails camp
Not only for members! They welcome the public. You can come by yourself, or rent cabins, or the quonset hut for special occasions. We've seen weddings, family reunions, service clubs, and birthday parties! Check with the office for large groups.
Sammie's in Nicolaus catered our banquet. When we order sandwiches, someone from our group picks up our orders at their place. Blue Heron cafe in Lake Minden is only open Fri-Sun for breakfast and lunch only. Lake Minden's country store/check in area has some ice cream treats and as few other food items for sale. That's about it. 15 min south to Scramento are a bunch of restaurants, as well at 18 miles north in Yuba city.
There is a fee, but I do not know what it is
Unfortunately, I have not visited there on the 4th of July, yet.
There seem to be around 15 lease spaces in section D along the back.
