They were searching Ebay comps when I walked in. 🤣 Some of their prices on furniture and purses are steep, but their clothing prices are reasonable.

Offering services in a patient’s home may decrease the need for hospitalizations, emergency room visits, or traveling to doctor appointments for care or treatment. Carolina Caring also offers services in Assisted Living Communities and Long Term Care Facilities while working alongside their staff to ensure symptoms are managed and holistic care is provided to patients and families.
Our health care team often reduces stress for families and caregivers who are struggling to take care of loved ones with a serious illness. For those who choose hospice care, help is available with activities of daily living like eating, bathing, and getting dressed, caregivers can get a break from daily tasks that can become overwhelming.
Diseases that are often treated by a palliative care program include serious illnesses like congestive heart failure, lung diseases, cancer, kidney disease, Alzheimer’s and more. The program embraces the entire patient by providing physical, emotional and spiritual support by an expert health care team that includes physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains and more.
The program is flexible so you can remain in the service while you are still receiving curative treatments for your illness.
If you decide to try hospice or palliative care, Carolina Caring has a local healthcare team in Alexander County that can help. These programs are usually covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance plans and are typically much less expensive than hospital care. Hospice care covers anything you may need to help you feel better including doctor visits, medications and medical equipment.
Designed to be an extra layer of support, bringing in palliative care does not mean stopping all treatments although it is more focused on providing relief from symptoms. Hospice focuses on comfort care and usually begins in a patient’s last six months of life.
We are now picking up furniture donations, depending on distance from our shop. Give us a call for details and to discuss pickup. Thanks for asking!
We accept donations at the Hospice Resale Shop that we resell to raise money to support the patient services of Carolina Caring.
