Weequahic Park

I've been going to weequahic park for over 30 years and it's the very best! Know need for any reason to believe security will make it safer. All it needs is for everyone to look out for everyone we have to police our self

Yes there are special area for make a campfire or place grille. And if u dont wanna listen to guards lesson about safety rules just stay 25 feet from the tree , dont make fire to big for campfire u need to put some dirt sand aroud the fireplace stones be good also , its always good to have some water in case the fire gets out of control. That the common safety guide how to dont burn up the whole park. And be humans dont act like animal even when u in forest, please take your garbage with u and place it in the right place. And remember there always the plastic cabin call toilet, u know what to do.

2 miles, the park states that the entire loop is 2.5 miles. There are many, at least 5, SERIOUS hills.

THEY HAVE A FOOTBALL FIELD A BASKETBALL COURT 3 SOFTBALL OR BASEBALL FIELDS .THEY ALSO GIVE LOTS OF CONCERTS & THINGS FOR KIDS TO DO DURING THE SUMMER

A lot deeper than that. In the past they have dragged whole cars and trucks out of it. I wouldn't advise swimming in it to test it out. Just enjoy walking around it and getting your cardial on Very safe in the daytime.

The park is also very dirty. The city of Newark should add more trash cans or obligate the people that go there to party,to pick after themselves or pay a hefty fine. There is always lots of police in the area.
