Note that alligators are very hard too see during summer, as they stay under water to regulate their temperature. We did the boat tour and saw almost no alligator :(

Fun short walk from the parking lot to the canopy walk. Watch out for wild life, this alligator was about 6 foot from the entrance to the tower.

The walkway is rather short and unimpressive unless you are travelling with kids. The view from the higher tower is amazing, though! Definitely worth the 2 minute walk from the road.

Service animals only on the canopy walk
No tour needed. The canopy walk isn't long but very nice. Now there's no access to the tower at the end of it. Highly recommend the 30min loop trail through the forest that starts right by the canopy walk

Sure as long as you don't care about flipping and flopping as you climb up the stairs! Naturally something with heel support and laces are going to help you more! Either way the view from the top is spectacular and very beautiful! Last time i was there they had wasps building a nest there so keep a look out for them and as long as you don't bother then, they'll leave you alone!
If you have a Fl. state park pass it's included, I want to say no more than $10for the car of 4 passengers but u might want to double check...make sure you take big spray..bugs are big right now
