How does someone make an emotional connection with there new friend of they can't even meet them. You have made your process. Ridiculous . In case you didn't get the memo animals don't understand the internet . They understand physical connection. Much deeper than we do and you deny them that. Absolutely ubserd and you blame covid still. I will not support this. I

I called in the last 20mins on a Sunday afternoon. I reported a lose dog on 26th Avenue East and East of mixon farms roamingback and forth across the busy road. He will not come to us and is very thin, ribs showing, has a collar but no tag we could see. I was told they don't work on Sundays for loose animals...only emergencies but they would pass it to the sheriff's office, SERIOUSLY OUR LE OFFICERS HAVE MORE DUTIES THAN THEY CAN HANDLE!!! WHY ARE WE FUNDING "ANIMAL SERVICES"??? This is so frustrating!!! I will be emailing county commissions and any other agencies.

Instead of complaining, let’s start adopting! They are overflowing, please spay and neuter!!

This doesn't answer your question, but if they make a better law and give them hefty citations hopefully they will pick up after their dogs. I have pets myself and still pick up their waste on my property and if they go on someone's yard which they don't I still pick up while others think is ok to use everyone else's yard. It's a health concern but it's not even addressed.
Where are you located? You can get traps to get them altered free through Humane Society.
Vicki, If you're not across a busy street, put water out for them. Video or take pictures of the dogs along with their home address and share it with the Humane Society or the animal shelter employees. I would also report it to the police or sheriff if animal control hasn't had time to help.
Look online for a business that will come & humanly trap the coyotes and take them somewhere else. By the way, coyotes are part of the ecosystem.
You can only do it online..there's an option for replacement tag. https://www.petdata.com/for-pet-owners/mte
Do not speak Spanish.
Stop by and visit. Walk through all the walkways and say hello to all the awesome animals that are looking for a forever home. You might even leave with 2.
That is not a question for this forum.
Talk to the owner & ask nicely if they could work on it or have them call a dog trainer to help. Keep in mind, dogs bark to alert us of various things. It's up to the owner to check why it's barking. Hope this helps. 🙂🐾✌️
No turles. However there use to be a reptile pet shop by target on US 41. Pinellas and St Pete have a few.
Their adoption fee for dogs/puppies is $50 plus $20 pet license if you reside in manatee county. Adoption fees ($50) are waived if the animal has been in the shelter 60+ days. I'm assuming you're asking about the 2yr old pittie and according to their site she is still there. I doubt the shelter will reply to this, but I highly recommend this shelter.
The volunteers are good but the staff(particularly office/front desk) could maybe benifit tremendously from a class in compassion/professionalism.
Manatee county. My hearts breaking.she's eating and drinking but she's pants alot and when I tried to move her She's screamed
Cat depot on 17th. Will
Yes, there are some cats at the Palmetto location.
Yes as long as they're not declawed
U need to Google there's a group that has formed and they rescue pits AS LONG AS THEY DO NOT SHOW ANY AGGRESSION
There should be
Call the cops it's a nuisance and they CAN ISSUE TICKETS
They will probably send out an officer to try to catch the dog but I don't know how long it will take them to get there.
If animals have tags or microchips MCAS contacts the owner
No. I adopted 2 animals from this location and the animals are splendid. The public must realize that the staff is dealing with animals that are sick, dying, scared, and dangerous all day long. It can get stressful at time for them and that is why the attitudes may be off at times. However, every workplace has their bad days as well. Even the McDonald’s staff. They are still human and have bad days. Simply respect what they do for the animals and move on.
We do have cats. However, the cats here have not been fixed yet but once they are fixed they will be ready for adoption. You can adopt a cat here and wait until after it is fixed or you can go to the Downtown location {1002-B manatee ave W Bradenton Fl, 34205} and it is open Tuesday - Saturday from 11-3pm.
