Went to a high-school cross country meet. Was really pretty there, looked like a nice place to camp, maybe even go fishing or just take a walk. Appeared to be very dog friendly.

Pretty nice for RV camping except for the roads.
GMan Bizzell
Great place to camp and clean easy access to the water

Vert pleasant experience walking the trails. Due to tree cover, even when it's raining you can have a nice walk without getting soaked. More than ample parking. Nice wide boat launch.

Kinda. They are at the window, wearing masks.
As with all NY State parks, you will need proof of rabies.
No fees during the week...small fee on weekends...
Make a reservation, small fee. There are sometimes larger events so make sure you check in far in advance! It is a wonderful aetting. If it is a spring wedding consider a few precautions against mosquitoes.
There is no store but right where you check in you can buy ice and firewood. They deliver both right to your site no charge
I believe the fee is $6 on the weekend to enter the park free during the week
Yes, currently all day weekdays are free. Weekends they charge $6 starting at 8am. If you get there before 8 it's free
No ice rink!
Yes, the campground has bathhouses with both restrooms and showers. Very clean!
O yeah, the Albany renselear station is about 20 min drive. That's how my brother comes camping with us from Boston. Nice trip, pretty views.
The site i was at (27) was a pull-thru with 20, 30, & 50 amp service.
Don't see a problem was there a few days ago from 11am to 4pm
The Schodack school district site has a schedule
I don't think so. Look at the site map. It should show the regular sites. There is a field for overflow that is rarely used. More private there. No trees. Hope that helps. You can always call the park. Ask for Kathy.
If looking to hunt in the park is it restricted to the park hours?
