Really nice campground
Gloria Ramirez
Great place very relaxing
Craig Asplund
The campground is well maintained and people followed the quiet hour rules for the most part. The bathrooms were, however, not cleaned nearly as well as they should be.
Richard Persico
Great for camping and fishing

Are they open for all campers?
I believe you have to get more than one night. Maybe two. It does cost, but cheap. I would check pricing on reserve America. It may be free with being out of season.
They are but please be a responsible owner and pick up after they do their business.
Up to 6-7 miles. You can make it shorter by doing tighter loops or walking along the stream
No swimming sign is posted. I sent a picture. This was about 2 weeks ago
When does the park closed for the year
Yes it is along with motorized boats and jet skiis, there are also 2 seaplanes that use the lake. However there is no boat ramp at the park only rooftop boats such as kayaks that can be carried to the water
People swim there regardless of the "no swimming" sign. No one will bother you. If a park ranger does come by, everyone gets out and goes back in after they leave.:-)

Yes...
There are facilities for toilet and showers. Check their website for group rates.
No not year around and its $50 for cabins
Yes, but you need a permit.
There is no power boat launch. There is access for paddle boats. There are town boat ramps in Newtown. Oxford, and Southbury. You can anchor in the cove near the ranger station at Kettletown Park.
No
You can find detail on CT state park DEEP online..
I use mine all the Time i actually like it better than a lighter. Go for it! Get a bunch of Birch bark for a nest is the easiest way I've found
About 25 minutes. Off exit 14, and you're almost there. Easy drive.
