We had an amazing experience here. We We were searching for a kitty and seemed the experience wasn't going as planned. We found Whiskers Pet rescue and from the moment we spoke to Margorie for interview to going to the agency was wonderful. Everyone was patient and kind. We are happy with our new fur baby. Most of all our little girls couldn't be happier.

I adopted a kitten from here (6mo) she’s almost 3 now! So grateful to have her, great staff, great experience, and all the cats looked well taken care of!

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. Yes, you can bring donations to the shelter. If you come during adoption hours someone will be there to answer the door, otherwise there are bins by the front door for donations.
Please apply online at WhiskersPetrescue.org then once approved, we will contact you for an appointment to meet our kittens.
I'm afraid not. We only take cats. However, I recommend you contact your local animal control officer; they may be able to help you find a rescue.
You would need to speak to our director, Caroline. It depends on current capacity at any given time. Please call Whiskers 203-586-1666 Wed-Sun 1-4 pm, or anytime and leave a msg. Thanks.
That's usually done on a case by case basis. Definitely call the shelter and see.
Yes, Whiskers only has Cats for adoption
Hi, Normally, to be a volunteer, you need to be 18 years old, however we are currently accepting some reliable 16-17 year olds with parental approval and signature on our volunteer waiver. Great for students needing community service hours!
