We had brunch. Everyone was super friendly and seated all 9 of us in a timely fashion. Food and service was excellent! Thank you! They give you made from scratch, huge plates of hearty food. My friend was so excited about their homemade coconut cake. All that, 9 people and it was $105.00. How can you go wrong, please keep supporting this local restaurant. Well worth a stop or multiple stops.

My sisters and I ate at Golden Girls last week. We all agreed, the last time we had good old country cooking this delicious, was our mom's cooking, 20 years ago. We had broasted chicken, which we had always called fried chicken. That along with their scrumptious side dishes, yeast rolls and cornbread, left us more than satisfied. Of course, we had to split a slice of coconut cream pie, it did not disappoint. I made a point to tell the manager how happy we were with everything. She told me; the restaurant was started by the Golden sisters. She said they treat all of their employees like family. It was obvious that everyone we encountered working there were happy to be there.

We actually came here after trying to go to waffle house, which was too busy. We were a little put off by the funny name and old fashioned building but I'm glad we gave it a shot. We had our own little table which was neat, and the building had personality. Service was fast and friendly. All day breakfast with good prices and right size portions. Definitely come here instead of waffle house if you're in the area.
