My husband, my 2 young kids and myself stayed here as a stopping point on our trip back to South Carolina. I was very impressed! The lobby was very clean, they had a sign saying there were remodeling, but I never saw a mess. The rooms were huge! We had 2 king beds that slept amazing(especially after a long car ride) Bathrooms were very nice and I loved that they had the bottles attached to the wall of shampoo etc. Breakfast was okay, nothing extraordinary, but for a free breakfast it did the job. I would definitely stop here again if in the area.

Recently renovated. Not that the Hampton Inn next to it is bad, but I actually preferred this place. Unfortunately, they don't offer the corporate rate I use as regularly as Hampton Inn. I'm also better vested in Hilton's rewards program. The breakfast was really good aside from the eggs, which tasted instant. The cinnamon rolls and the biscuits were outstanding. All of the staff were great. Very friendly, especially the desk clerk, who I think was named Mike. He was very friendly and helpful. I left something valuable in the room after I checked out, and he was a great help trying to find it. I also credit the housekeepers as well. As far as the room, it was very large, so large that it could use another piece of furniture such as a sofa. The bed was amazingly comfortable but was lofty. My small husband's legs dangled sitting on the edge. The room had a large, rectangular, low setting set of drawers. The top of it was a convenient spot for staging and setting luggage. We loved the tile shower stall with the large containers of shampoo and body wash.

I cannot say enough about how great the staff was here. We arrived late but were met with a lovely lady who helped us find food and just made our stay that much better. Day time employees were just as nice. The lady making breakfast...she was so friendly and is quite the singer 🙂! The rooms were well kept and had everything we expected. We regularly stay at Holiday Inn express hotels when we travel and this was by far one of our best experiences.

The building is being renovated right now. The room we got was huge. The bathroom was nice. Fridge and TV worked. Lots of plugs for chargers. They lost a star for the blinds not fully closing. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Beds were full size queens, not the "queen" size beds at most hotels
