Got a call from some rep saying they were from this location and they need my bank card information to give me food stamps. This seemed very suspect so I did ask what center they were calling from and they said this one and they are a third level rep and if I didn't give them the info along with confirm my address they would close my case. I ask if they could confirm case number because as long as I been with hra they have never asked for my bank card info. She then proceed to threaten me saying she can't not confirm my case number and she only has a limited time so she can't wait for me to figure out why she would need this info and why a center not my own was even calling. Then proceeds to threaten me again that with a push of a button she can close my case if I don't give her what she asking for. I said again this feels wrong and she seemed hostile. I really hope this was a scammer and this is not how our city government employees deal with people. I'm farely young and this gave me the most anxiety. I could just imagine someone elderly would be sick for this.
