Great people, good company I needed a DOT physical right away. I Call them to schedule an appointment, went the same day got it done, they even emailed the DMV my medical car so I didn't have to make a trip thanks again... Ps the lady at the front desk was super great and hilarious (don't chance for anyone)

My experience here was poor. I went in for a DOT physical. All went well with the doctor but I had a few questions after in regards to my condition. The husband of the Dr. barged in on the conversation and proceeded to tell me that I can't talk to the doctor that way!? Not sure in what way or why he felt it necessary to get involved with a conversation between the doctor and myself. The room door was open while having a conversation with the doctor. This a HIPPA violation, last time I checked. I will never return to this office again. The prejudice is evident and I feel that none of this would have occurred if I were someone of another race. I will however be reporting this to the BBB, and the state of Florida, because not only were my rights violated but I was looked as a threat because of the color of my skin If I could give any less than 0 stars I would but verbally I'm Giving less than zero stars. Not telling you all who to go to, but please don't waste your time or money Going here, especially if your skin color is a little darker than the rest.

Dot physicals are $69 during the week when we are here which is Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays. Occasionally we will see someone on a Saturday by appointment only and meet them at the office. Those are $89 because the doctor is coming to the office just to meet you. We do accept walk ins but Appointments are always preferred and best for all concerned as that eliminates waiting because we run on time with our schedule.

I have some mild afib, we'll controlled. Will this fail me for the phyical?

It is not disqualifying by itself. It will get you a maximum of 1 year certification instead of 2. Depending on factors such as medications, etc. this doesn't have to be a disqualifying condition with the proper documentation from your doctor monitoring the condition and his opinion on whether you are safe to drive a CMV. There are only a handful of conditions and medications that are disqualifying immediately. Most other conditions with the right info and documentation and passing all other parts of the physical can usually get you a medical card at least for some time period. Always best to call your examiner prior to know what they will require when you come in for your physical. Don't just show up without proper documentation and things will go easier.
