It is not disqualifying by itself. It will get you a maximum of 1 year certification instead of 2. Depending on factors such as medications, etc. this doesn't have to be a disqualifying condition with the proper documentation from your doctor monitoring the condition and his opinion on whether you are safe to drive a CMV. There are only a handful of conditions and medications that are disqualifying immediately. Most other conditions with the right info and documentation and passing all other parts of the physical can usually get you a medical card at least for some time period. Always best to call your examiner prior to know what they will require when you come in for your physical. Don't just show up without proper documentation and things will go easier.
