The lodge is very dated. The room looked aesthetically nice but there were alot of ants in our room. We were going to stay two nights but we cut it short. When we told the front desk girl in the morning she didnt even seems to care. Not even a sorry that your room had ants. There were also some weird smells. I have never had such a bad experience at a navy lodge before.

OK I've been here a few days now so I got some input for here. The staff: amazing and always helpful. No issues with them what so ever. The place itself: overall not bad but not good. It's well kept by the staff so not in their control. The building just hasn't been updated in awhile it feels. The room: spacious but not sure why theirs 2 queen sized beds in here and one tiny dresser. The table and chairs is nice. The kitchenette is...OK. cramped like crazy and the cabinets are full with the stuff like some plates, bowls, cups and cooking pots and pans, coulda done better at stowing so people feel they have room in the cabinets to use them when here for awhile. The fridge is off balance and it's annoying. The pots and pans are cheap as hell so they will burn food fast and be a pain to clean. The TV has an auto dump of info everyday at 1300 which is annoying but I get it I suppose The bathroom: shower head comes up to shoulder only... not tall people friendly. The tub if you step you can feel it move and makes a popping sound and it pops back up from where you step in, it needs to be replaced. The toilet is older not very good needs updated. Overall I get it's a "2 star hotel" but some things definitely needs to be looked at and updated

Air quality from the air conditioner is terrible. I was sick as a dog on the third day we had to move out. I know it was the air conditioner because when it wasn’t on and we opened the window everyone breathed better. We turned it on at nights and we all were congested and snotty in the mornings. I got really sick but thankfully the kids didn’t not. We informed the front desk staff and they didn’t care. The front desk receptionist was not pleasant. I’d rather pay out of pocket than to stay there.

Cheap enough and seemingly "physically" clean, however... My room smelled so bad, I could barely sleep. It's like old socks, mildew and wet dog all rolled into one. I'm really sad we decided to stay at all. I didn't expect the Ritz, but this is disgusting.
