Matchbox is okay for what it is. A pizza bar. The location on 8th street SE needs a refresh. Other restaurants and bars in the area are updating leaving matchbox behind. What was once a staple on barracks row is a shell of its former self

The food was ridiculously good and service was quick and amazing as a food worker I would be proud to work here the menu has a nice variety but doesn't come off as pretentious and everything we got between the apps drinks and pizza was just ridiculously good we're goin back in the morning for brunch because we want to explore the menu more

We were walking by and looking for something to eat for lunch, the waiter told us we won’t be disappointed and he sure was right. Great, quick service, very polite staff. We ordered brick oven pizza and Caesar salads, very fresh food. My kids loved it. The Caesar salad was great too. Definitely recommend this place. They have a variety of choices to pick from. Outdoor patios available for seating.
