Great place to mountain bike and hike! It's close to the city, but also you feel like your in the middle of nowhere. Great!!

This park is pretty much perfect except for how incredibly crowded it gets on weekends - single star deduction. The young kids stay drinking and doing other stuff on the side closer to the tennis courts, the even younger kids kick it with their parents at the playground and there is a variety of dogs and humans in between. Great location - a short walking distance from various venues of food and entertainment. Plus the food trucks and jello shots at the park are great.

Bell Canyon Park is a nice park to visit in Simi Valley. There is a cave in the park that you can hike to and climb up to and go inside, nice mountain views, and a creek which runs through the park. Great for a short hike or adventure.

Beautiful views of both the nearby cities and the valley. Make sure you bring proper foot wear as the terrain is rough and can be slippery. I'd recommend bringing some water too. It isn't rock climbing but it isn't just a walk through the park either. A super cool cave to climb through is a major bonus!
