The care I received from the nurses, both before and after my procedure, were fantastic. After coming out of anesthesia, they were attentive to my needs and very friendly at th same time. I was equally impressed with my doctor and the anesthesiologist. Each of them made accommodations to add to my comfort. A very good experience overall.

Every step of the way, everything was handled very efficiently. I have never had such an efficient treatment before. I was out of the ER in two hours. Absolutely unprecedented. Every staff member was very professional. They knew what they needed to do. It was the best treatment I received. Thank you.

I arrived on Sunday Morning to the ER department around 7:30 am. The response of the Nurses and staff were exceptional. They took me right back from the waiting room. Obtained my vital signs and took my medical history. I was lucky not to have surgery that day. The care was excellent. Being from Florida on Vacation they made me feel very welcome. Blessing to you all.

My 97 year-old mother fell at her assisted living facility and wound up in the ER; she was subsequently admitted for four additional days. The care by the nursing staff was exceptional, but I do have two concerns. First of all, apparently, my mother had a mild heart attack and I found it interesting that no one mentioned that. Secondly, (and this seems minor when compared to the heart attack), there was no phone by her bed and it was difficult for other members of my family to try and speak with Mom. I asked several times, but they could not seem to locate a phone. I realize many people use their mobiles these days, but patients are usually encouraged to leave valuables at home when they come to hospital.

Yes they do accept Medi-Cal in the West Hills ER
I don't think you can get it by email but your family member will have a patient portal that you can log into and see everything that's going on with them. They have to set up the patient portal online first and then give you the log in information. That's the easiest way to communicate online with the staff there
Yes you can visit. Bring proof of a Covid vaccine or negative Covid test.
No. The hospital is for emergency treatments or other inpatient care. There are no pediatric dermatologists in the immediate vicinity of West Hills Hospital.
West Hills Hospital is located in West Hills, California. We are very close to Woodland Hills and Calabasas.
2pm to 8pm
Yes, but you would need to contact Topanga Terrace for more details.
Hi Carol, We do not have private rooms, however, we do try to accommodate whenever we can.
Hi Frank, We do have a directory of the physicians at our facility on on website: https://westhillshospital.com/physicians/ I hope this helps!
I think you should go immediately it's a wonderful hospital I almost bleed to death 4 years ago didn't know I had 5 bleeding ulcers in my stomach they saved my life. Go to the hospital they are great people very caring and they won't do anything without explaining it completely so you understand. Go to the hospital they will take great care of you. Whenever you see blood when you go to the restroom you must see a doctor it could be nothing or it could be something. Be safe and go to the hospital.
The posted times are lies. Those times are to get checked in with someone at the front desk. It’s about a 2+ hour wait based on what hours in for
Sign medical release form. Give it to front entrance n they mail it to u
I'm not a doctor but i believe that they do colonoscopy there good luck to you
It does not. You must go to a VA facility.
Yes
No. Look for hotels in or near West Hills
They are very helpful. Go there and ask or call
I had to wait 8 hours for "change of shift" for doctors to come. Appalling!
Always call and check with your insurance first. They're the ones paying so you want to hear it from them
Yes...very. Convert the advertised wait time from minutes to hours (e.g. 6 minutes is really 6 hours). Also, in addition to your copay, you'll receive bills from 3 to 4 other businesses for your visit (xray, blood work, the ekg, etc).
I thought they accepted UHC PPO for emergency room visits. However, after a $100 copay and then $1400 in third party bills, I'm not so sure.
Yes...excellent!
