I have lived at The Groves at Piney Orchard for over 18 years. The staff has always been so friendly, maintenance requests dealt with promptly, and the landscaping always lovely. The complex is situated in a quiet neighborhood with many walking/biking paths, lots of trees and greenery, and with amenities like a grocery store and other shops, a community center, and an elementary school. If I were not moving away for my work, I would stay indefinitely! You won't regret making The Groves your new home.

When I tell you that I love living here... I really do and I never want to leave. I can go on and on about this community, Piney Orchard in itself is where you want to be for comfortability, for peace and the beautiful greenery and everyone is extremely nice.

I have lived here for almost a year and love it. This is a very nice, quiet complex with great amenities. Management staff have been nothing but attentive and helpful every time. My stay has been great overall.

We are currently zoned for Piney Orchard Elementary, which is one of the most highly rated schools in the area. We are also zoned for Arundel Middle School and Arundel High school. All of the schools are within a few miles of the property. A bus picks up for the middle and high school - the elementary is within walking distance.
Yes, 20% of our community is designated to the Low Income Tax Credit Program. The rents do not vary based on each individual income, but are a set amount based on 30% of a person at 50% of the area's median income. The program has maximum income guidelines based on the number of people residing in the apartment. We keep a waiting list for this program.
Yes, we allow up to two pets for an additional $30 per pet per month. There is a $150 pet deposit and a $150 one time pet fee per household. We allow dogs of any size, but we do restrict aggressive breeds such as Pitbulls, Rotweillers, Doberman, German Shepherds, etc. and any mix of these breeds.
