I had a wonderful experience with Long Fence beginning with Mark Spurrier, the sales representative. It took longer than I expected though to actually get on the schedule for the fence installation, but Ms.Cinderae came on board and she represented Long Fence extremely well. She scheduled my installation date and apologized for the delay. She promised me that I would not regret a decision to choose Long Fence for a second time and she was absolutely correct! I even spoke to Mr. Walter, the installation manager who was very kind as well. The crew led by Mr. Jesus arrived promptly and stayed until the job was complete! Afterwards, they did a phenonmenal job cleaning up as well. Kudos to Long Fence as their customer service is truly a cut above the rest!

Great service, reasonable schedule, excellent workmanship and materials. Cleaned up when finished. Installed fencing for other family members also. Highly recommend.

My experience began when meeting a sales associate working for Long Fence Tom. I had several quotes for my dream deck but no contractor took the time with me like Tom to get the design I wanted. Also the final product is beautiful. It’s amazing to see the precise measurements perfect cuts, and professional carpentry when watching the crew. I’m really truest happy with this experience. Thanks Long Fence

Had Long Fence install a 6ft high white vinyl fence around the backyard with 2 gates. Part of the fence is on a slope. The install went great with no issues. Due to the busy season and supply chain delays with materials, the wait was about 10 weeks as they quoted. Overall it was an easy process; and we'd recommend LF for this type of job.

Time required is extremely variable. What materials will you be using? Chain link, for instance, installs faster than wood. How much space are you enclosing with the fence? Is the terrain flat and unobstructed? Wooded? Rugged? Into what kind of soil will you be placing posts? (Rocks take extra time and effort.) Installing a fence, particularly digging the holes, can be very strenuous work, particularly for a long fence and in rocky soil.
Determine your fence style and materials based on your needs and your home’s architecture. Will the fence be purely an aesthetic landscaping feature? Are you looking for absolute privacy? Will it be used to control access to a pool, protect the children’s play area or prevent your dog from escaping? Your answers will go a long way in determining what type of fence is best for you.
Contact your local utility companies to help you determine the location of underground gas, water and power lines. The service is usually free.
Only if your home is considerably close to your neighbors home
Check with your HOA to be sure there are no restrictions on fence installation or if there are style guidelines in effect for your community.
You should locate your plat to determine your property lines. You will want to be sure the fence lies within the confines of your own property. If you are not sure of your property’s boundaries, a lot stake out is recommended.
Yes, but your existing structure must pass local building codes.
We have three different options for decking: treated wood with stabilizers, composite or vinyl. All three products offer benefits to the homeowner depending on their lifestyle, budget and individual preferences.
Our standard installation is to keep the deck floor below the door threshold to prevent moisture from “wicking” into the doorframe and causing rot. We will, however, build a deck tight to the threshold when instructed by a homeowner or in applications that require full accessibility.
Adding a fence to enclose all or part of the yard, or a deck or patio to your residential property will, in most cases, add to the value of the property upon appraisal or assessment.
Every job is different and many factors can determine its completion date, but once we start your job, we will keep you informed of its progress until its completion.
Your salesperson should provide you with an estimated start date. Jobs cannot be started until all necessary permits have been obtained and Miss Utility has been called. Once the permits are obtained and the property is marked, you will be notified of your installation date. Weather can also be a factor in determining the start date of a job. If you are ever uncertain about your installation date, please contact your sales associate for clarification.
We utilize both. Most of our subcontractors have been with us for at least five years. The installation manager determines the best crew for the job. If you ever have a concern about installation, please contact us.
We’ve been in business since 1945.
Long® Fence is required by law to contact Miss Utility prior to starting any job. Underground utilities need to be marked on the property where the job will be installed in order to prevent damage or injury during installation.
No, unless there are specific community rules or zoning ordinances, a fence is typically installed just inside the property line.
While we are not surveyors, we can order surveys in most areas at a reasonable cost.
No. Long® Fence obtains all necessary permits. Variances are the customer’s responsibility.
