I'm new to this Marc train stuff. I will be relocating to Odenton and will be commuting daily to downtown D.C., does anyone know what time the earliest train come to Odenton and where it will let me off at in D.C? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Its a convenient, mostly clean, and great commuter rail station with nice customer service members. Trains run on time and can get you to work fast. If you live near the area its a great train station that is recommended for you. Its fun to railfan at even though you can’t see very far up the track from the platform. Oh and it is especially fun when there is snow.

What is the latest you can arrive at the station in order to find parking? When I used to take the train there in 1999, if i got there by 6:30am, there was no parking available.... Thanks!

Hi, I am getting there each morning at 6:30am and there is plenty of parking on either side of the track.

At the train station there are automatic ticket machine for MARC. How can I get a reduced fare ticket for a senior/disabled perdon

Depends on where you are going... Generally $5 to $8... Prices are approximately 50% off for seniors and handicapped... You can go to MTA website... Definitely has schedules... Might have price .. Tickets can be bought at machines at most stations along the lines.... Seniors and handicapped must be registered with MTA to receive reduced price tickets from machines. No...the office isn't open on the weekends and u should be able to exchange the ticket when the office is open as long as it hasn't expired...and pay the difference and so forth.
