I’ve called over 17 times no exaggeration because every time I called I would hit 0 to speak to a representative and was immediately hung up on. When I finally got to a waiting line, I was waiting on hold for 15mins to speak to someone this is absolutely ridiculous. I called Newark municipal by accident and they answered the call within 1min of me calling. Jersey city municipal is trash and there should be another way to report or deal with them people have court dates to settle and tickets to pay stop wasting everybody’s time

I had a court date set for July 7th for a January 25th parking ticket (wow 6 months). That court date was canceled because the Judge had an emergency which is understandable. However that meant my court date was pushed back to Aug 31. Well today is Aug 31 and my court time was at 4:30PM. I've now been waiting in the zoom with no response/update for over an hour (it's just past 5:30PM) and there's a splash screen that says I should wait patiently... I'm pretty sure the court closes at 5PM. It has now been over 7 months since my parking ticket and I have no resolution. This is here to document the issues I've faced so when they come back and say I didn't show up for court... well I have proof I tried many times. Good luck to the rest of you!

ALWAYS very poor phone tree standards, system hangs up on you after sometimes hours of waiting. Phone tree suggested wait time is 2 mins, and then may go on for 2 hours. And hopefully at the end you might get a human. I received court date notices that have arrived the day of, day before even a day later. How can this even be legal? PLEASE DO BETTER! PLEASE IMPROVE YOUR SYSTEM! PLEASE ENTER THE 21ST CENTURY

Usually, but you would have to see a judge. If you have a court date, you can ask the judge for a time payment. Otherwise, come to court and ask someone at the service window whether the request can be approved or else give you a court date.
