While the building can certainly use some upgrades and more timely repairs when there are issues - I have to thank the building manager Carolyn for always doing whatever she can to help make things better and easier; whether it’s helping with lease negotiations, pushing to renovate the fitness center, throwing pool parties and events or just timely responses - she has been great to work with!

The Cast Iron 1 elevators are more reliable than McDonald’s ice cream machines. Definitely would not suggest living here if you have any long term health concerns that could require speedy medical attention. As can be seen in the response below, the building got both elevators back up and running in response to mine and other’s reviews. If both elevators remain up and running through 30 days from the buildings response (Sept 12th) I will change this review to 5 stars. Updates to come. The Elevators have in fact been running consistently running for one month, so the review has been updated to 5 stars. Monica at the front desk of Cast Iron 1 is also great.

Thank you to management for dealing with the broken elevators in cast 1. They have back up and running normally therefore I am adjusting my review.
