I lived here for 3 years and it was nice and quiet for the most part but I had a leak in my bedroom that started before I moved in and it was never fixed. Every time it rained a lot (which is often in Gainesville) it would leak. I reported it often and was always told that they were gathering estimates but it would always take months before anyone worked on it. It was only worked on two times over the three years and the leak was never fixed. With the recent change in management companies, nothing was done for over half a year and even now, with management fully settled, nothing is still being done.

I’ve lived here for 3 years, and it used to be a nice place (albeit, with a few quirks), but recently the maintenance and management has been horrible. I’ve had a leak in the master bedroom for well over a year with no maintenance. It takes weeks to months to fix simple things and the management always has an excuse.

My son moved out of Williamsburg Village Apartments on 12/31/21 and received zero communication about his security deposit. I cosigned his lease. We have emailed the complex, spoken with Melissa at the complex management office twice, and I left a voicemail with the Cushman and Wakefield regional manager, Isabel. No one has followed up with us, not even to say they are looking into the matter. I am flabbergasted by their lack of professionalism. So disappointed. 04/12/2022 update: Williamsburg Village Apartments recently went through a property management change. After posting a similar poor review for Cushman and Wakefield, their regional manager reached out for more information, and we were then contacted again by Melissa. She has since assertively investigated our son's account, identified and rectified their oversight, and the deposit refund has been mailed. It seems like the transition between property management companies has been challenging, and I certainly wish both Melissa and the apartment community ongoing success!

Williamsburg is not what it used to be. I've been here for over a year now and have seen the decline since new management took over. The washer/dryers are frequently broken and take weeks to be fixed. The card machine has been broken for a few months now so you have to drive to another complex to recharge the laundry card. My AC has broken several times in recent months leading to extremely high utility bills because it is so inefficient. And I now know of several people who have found bats in their apartments. The front office people are nice but they always defer your problems to regional management. I've never seen people so eager to avoid responsibility. This is why nothing gets done or fixed. The location is great which is why you would be better served at Somerset, The Commons, or Summit House.
