It's a 2 star ALL the way... from the room, thin floors to breakfast, but it gets the job done for a long weekend. The lady at the front desk(Michelle?) was so accommodating and helpful each night 5/6 - 5/7. We had booked a Air B&B just to find out after being on the road in the rain, that never let up, for 10 plus hours that it was booked already. 😬😬😬We were angry, tried and frustrated and everything in between. One of the students recommended this place to stay. SO WE CALLED and we were just happy that they had rooms available. Anyways we were happy because the location was very convenient (main street/ highway) vs where the Air BNB was located. (Ski resort)

We stayed at this Microtel a few weeks back on our way home from Florida. First and foremost I MUST say how accommodating the young man (R.J. I believe) working the desk was. Despite the fact that the hotel was obviously booked to capacity with people returning from March Break he went out of his way to ensure everyone was happy. This was not just myself and 3 teenage children, but also the other guests arriving. The room, although simple, was clean and more than adequate for a travelling family. Yes there were some things that needed upgrading but we were paying $60 a night, not $200 for an upscale hotel. In the morning the same young man was still working. He was still doing his absolute best to make sure guests were happy. Honestly this location is lucky to have someone that cares so much about his job. I would recommend this hotel for those travelling and looking for a place to rest their head for night.

The staff here was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, but the room we were given was less than desirable. The in room couch was visibly dirty all over the arm rests, the carpet was dirty or stained and a large square had been cut out and re-glued down, and there was no trash can in the restroom. The breakfast spread was excellent and the lady attending it was quick to refill and stock all low items. This hotel has found a great group of people to work in all of the hospitality positions but could really benefit from investing in maintenance.

The lobby was beautifully decorated and looked clean. The gentleman who checked us in was kind and helpful. But our room was not great. The carpet was tearing up, to the point where I thought it hadn't been vacuumed. The bathroom was really nasty, with mold and mildew, and rust around the door frame. The beds were adequate, but the sheets were inside out. Made me worry that maybe they just flipped then inside out after the last guest....smelled clean, though. The breakfast was utterly disappointing. The best part was the waffles. The milk and orange juice were empty and never refilled, despite us asking. There was Trix yogurt, but nothing else, 2 bagels, and 3 bruised bananas. There was cereal, but again, no milk. And coffee, but not sure how that was as my husband and I didn't have any. The morning desk clerk was rude and dismissive, though the other staff members were really friendly. The price was around $75 with taxes, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Yes, no smoking rooms. But they do outside smoking area
The pool was open July 26-July 28. They are doing a brown sack breakfast. Banana, a pastry, granola bar, pop tart and water.
Yes Beckley happens to be a Pittsburg city as that is the largest city with a professional team closest to them
