I will give this a 2 star only because the staff were so lovely. This hotel needs serious help. Our room smelled terribly of cigarette smoke and had a wet feel in the air. We looked out the window to a group of bikers that were hanging out in the parking lot by our room. The entire hotel was full of construction workers and rail road workers and I didn't feel safe there with my 11 year old. We left immediately after finding a nasty bug in the shower. And this hotel costs 109 per night. Laughable.

Good experience at the Quality Inn in Beckley. Rooms were nice. Pool was heated enough that even though it was raining the kids were able to swim. Hot breakfast was okay. They only had one waffle maker so it took a while. Staff was very friendly. Check in/out easy. Conveniently located near many restaurants. The WiFi was a little spotty though. It took a while to connect and then dropped several times.

Was a very affordable stop for our hard way mark. Hotel bar was fun and met some great people! Rooms could use some updating but they are very clean and all the staff was kind and friendly.

We had a ground floor guest room that was clean and quiet. The breakfast area looked good the following morning. I only had coffee and tea, but many other guests seemed to be pleased with the food options.
