Breakfast was AMAZING! Staff was kind and professional at check in. The pool was open when I went so that was great for my boys! We had a conjoined room so I loved being able to give my kids their own space. Plus if you have a partner your intimate with you’ll appreciate them having their own room! I’ll definitely be back!

Rooms are a bit cramped. Water pressure on the fifth floor is very weak. And our shower drained very slowly. The breakfast area was very crowded. There aren't enough places to sit for the amount of guests here. Good location to walk to a few restaurants at least.

I had initially reserved a room at the Baymont hotel. Upon my arrival I saw the hotel was in complete disarray and the elevator was out of service. I had reserved a room for my handicap grandmother and myself. I cancelled immediately and drove over to Hampton Inn in hopes that they would have a room. When I walked into the Hampton Inn, the lobby looked great and was very clean. The two ladies at the front desks were amazing! They not only did they find me a room but they ensured it was handicap accessible and on the first floor. I wish I knew their names because they deserve so much praise. The room was very nice. It was clean and inviting. I would highly recommend the Hampton Inn for anyone looking to stay in Beckley.

Room was clean. Breakfast subpar. Staff were friendly. Manager, Andrea, rude condescending hostile and unprofessional. My card was charged without my knowledge despite making a weekly payment the day before and staff telling me I could pay again the next week (extended stay). Upon questioning why my card was charged without my knowledge, which wasn’t the card that the room was reserved on, I was informed by Andrea that she didn’t have time and was busy doing her “monthlies”. I contacted corporate to file complaint and decided best to end my stay as her behavior and mannerism was unwelcoming. The next day I found another charge to my account without my knowledge and again contacted to ask why I was charged yet again with no knowledge. I was informed by Andrea that she did not have to inform me and that it was not how “hotel life worked”. I informed I would be calling corporate again to which I was told “why, they just call me. This is my hotel”. I was also told that they needed to show me charges in person and would not explain via telephone. I have no desire to discuss anything with this manager because of her hostility. I was then informed that I would be kicked out of the hotel before my check out. I have never stayed at a Hampton before and will never again. If you need a payment show some customer service and courtesy and call your customer to make them aware!! To Whomever owns this particular Hampton you need new management! I will be posting this review in several nursing forums to ensure that everyone is aware of the treatment you will receive from management.
