I accompanied my Dad to 3 of his appointments lately. Dr Kagie is remarkable. She’s very thorough, personable, knowledgeable and has such a great bedside manner. If I ever move to the area, I definitely want to have her as my doctor.

Front desk receptionist for Dr. Kagie is highly unprofessional. She does not know how to communicate without talking over you then hanging up on you. She called me back to back 3 times until I answered. If we are not available leave a message like everyone else. She has lied on my behalf. She is just a horrible person.

Dr Kagie is the real deal: a doctor who cares, listens, is respectful, answers questions, and doesn't rush through to get to the next patient. She is everything one can wish for in a provider. As for the office... It's been rather hit and miss over the years. At times, I have been able to reach people on the phone, get a message to and response from the doctor, and been treated wonderfully by the staff. Sometimes not. Once I tried to coordinate for over 3 months for a referral that kept being misplaced or pushed aside or who knows what! I finally gave up on it. I also wouldn't recommend trying to see her for something urgent like ear infections. Unless something's changed, it's difficult to get in to see her very quickly. Overall, I consider Dr Kagie a diamond in the rough and would put up with a lot to see her.

Staff doesn't return calls and doesn't listen while the doctor wastes your time. Has you set an appointment then is late to the appointment in they're own office. Can't even help with simple referrals and left me paying out of pocket. Completely unprofessional and unhelpful. 0/5

Questions & Answers

Hi, I have a question before making Dr. Kagie my primary physician. Does she have medical students with her at our doctor visits & if she does, will she honor my request to not have them there during my visit if it makes me feel uncomfortable?

My MD is actually Dr. Acevedo-Mogharbel. She does have students at almost every visit. I have never requested they not be in the room. I'm sure they would honor your request. Please let me know the outcome. I never knew that could be an option. I do, although love the care I get at this office.

Hello Patience. I hope this finds you doing well and happy as can be. Because of my morals and respect for any and all women, it is not proper for a man to ask a woman her age. Having said that, I still wanted to help you with your question. Last week I had another appointment with Doctor Kagie and I brought up your question to her. She asked me to reply with "She has been in practice for over 15 years now". She is certified in many areas. As a matter of fact, she has been helping me with my Pain Management until I can find a doctor who will accept my insurance and one I can trust. Pain Management is a very tough subject for all doctors these days. The amount of paperwork that must be submitted to the state and feds is staggering to say the least. The amount of time, she herself must commit to this one single area of healthcare is insane. Yet, because of her dedication and devotion to her patients, she willingly took on my therapy without being asked by me.
